Flathead, blue and channel catfish excellent on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, punch bait, shad, stinkbait and sunfish below the damn, along channels, main lake, river channel, shorelines and standing timber. Black and white crappie good on jigs and minnows below the damn, along brush structure, main lake, river channel and standing timber. Konawa: May 15. Elevation is normal, water temperature 72°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, jigs and plastic baits around main lake, points and weed beds. Striped hybrid and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, sassy shad and spoons around coves, discharge, main lake and river channel. Lower Mountain Fork River Trout Area: May 13. Elevation is normal, water temperature 57°F and clear. Rainbow trout good on midges, nymphs, PowerBait, tube jigs and worms below the damn, along creek channels, river channel and spillway. Murray: May 17. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal, water temperature 78°F and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on crankbaits, flukes, jigs and plastic baits around brush structure, flats, rocks and shallows. White bass slow on jigs and minnows around flats and main lake. Pine Creek: May 13. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 68°F and murky. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits and topwater lures around creek channels. Black crappie excellent on jigs and small lures around brush structure and standing timber. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver and stinkbait below the damn and along the river channel. Crappie are suspended in 10-12 ft. of water near brush piles and trees. They have been biting chartreuse and green weenie jigs. Bass have been hitting top water in the morning in the upper end of the lake. Texoma: May 15. Elevation is normal, water temperature 82°F and stained. Striped bass good on cut bait, live bait and live shad around channels, creek channels, main lake, points and river channel. Blue catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, hot dogs, live shad, punch bait, shad, stinkbait and sunfish below the damn, along channels, coves, creek channels, docks, points and river channel. Black crappie fair on grubs, jigs, minnows, PowerBait and small lures around brush structure, coves, docks, points, rocks and standing timber. Fishing this week has been good. Striper have been biting very well this week. They are being caught south of the railroad bridge and near Washita point. Look for ledges near channels in 30-40 ft. water. Live shad have been the go-to for striper. Blue cats are biting on live shad and cut bait in 20-38ft of water. Crappie have been biting on jigs with PowerBait in 3-16ft of water.
